01
Your coaching rhythm

Learn. Practice. Send. Adjust.

1

Meet privately

Review progress and learn the next step with your matched coach during your weekly private call.

2

Practice at home

Follow a clear plan built around short, repeatable sessions that fit everyday life.

3

Upload one video each week

Your coach reviews it with you for discussion and specific feedback on timing, handling and your dog’s response.

4

Text between calls

Ask focused questions during stated weekday support hours so small issues do not stall progress.

02
Why coaching matters

There is no module for every in-depth problem.

Every dog and owner are different. The modules teach the foundations, while individualized coaching happens through three separate forms of support: your weekly 45-minute private video call, one separate training-video upload each week for discussion and feedback, and weekday text communication with your coach.

03
Members-only curriculum

01

Marker training

Build a clear “yes” marker and reward timing so your dog understands exactly which choice earned reinforcement.

02

Sit & down

Use food placement and hand positioning, then fade the lure into clean hand and verbal signals.

03

Stay

Build duration first, then distance and distraction without asking for too much too quickly.

04

Come

Household manners

Doorways, place, greetings, jumping, waiting for food and settling calmly in daily life.

Picture guide

From food lure to clear hand signal.

The full member lesson pairs each written step with visual handling examples.

1

Lure with food

Use food placement to help the dog understand the first movement.

2

Guide into position

Keep the movement clean and repeatable without rushing the dog.

3

Mark and reward

Mark the correct choice clearly, then reinforce it immediately.

4

Fade to hand signal

Gradually reduce the lure so the dog responds to a clean signal.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Basic Obedience is designed for dogs of all ages, from puppies through adult dogs. Your coaching is adjusted to your dog’s age, experience, temperament and current skill level. Dogs with aggression, bite history or more serious behavior concerns should go through the behavior-program screening process so the right coaching path can be selected.
You meet privately with your coach for a 45-minute video call each week. You review progress, troubleshoot what is happening in real life and leave the call with a clear plan for the next week.
Yes. Your 45-minute private video coaching call each week is separate from your weekly training-video upload and separate from weekday text support. You receive all three forms of support during the program.
You upload one training video each week for discussion and feedback in addition to your private weekly coaching call. Your coach uses the uploaded video to look at timing, handling, your dog’s response and any adjustments that will make the next practice sessions clearer.
Most clients can begin with a standard leash, an appropriate collar or harness, food rewards and a phone or camera for the weekly video. Your coach can recommend changes based on your dog and the exercises being taught.
After enrollment you complete your Dog Profile and receive instructions for your private coaching, member materials and the next steps for getting started.
We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule or make a change, we’ll work with you whenever possible. Scheduling, cancellations, refunds and participation are governed by the New Canine Living Service Agreement and Terms accepted during enrollment. Those formal terms control if there is ever a difference between a brief website explanation and the agreement.
